Here at NightTunes we dont really have much words to describe this track... Other than WOW! It's simply that amazing!
The latin classic 'Mas Que Nada' originally performed by Sergio Mendes and later Black Eyed Peas has been revived into a hardpumping, bassgrowling, INSANE track!
After his succesful track 'Let It Go' with Max C and Audible, swedish Mikael Weermets has remixed Italian Nari & Milano - the creaters of the acid bombs 'Kendo' and 'Atom' (which will be available in March) - and French Richard Grey´s version of this latin classic.
And the result is really impressive. The track is a progressive house bomb with a uplifting beat and a synthy hard bassline like we know Mikael is a master of. And if you combine this with the latino rythms of 'Mas Que Nada' its hard not to move your body to the rythm. I would dare to say that this track has without doubt the potential to be one of the best remixes in 2012.
The track is set to be released in February through EGO label. We dont know the specific release date, but we will keep you updated !
The past five years have been something of a maturing period for the youthful Gothenburg born DJ. In 2007 Mikael Weermets reached the finals of SMC (Scandinavian Music Convention) competing against household names like Eric Prydz, Axwell and Stonebridge. That same year he was voted ʻBest Swedish DJʼ in Megamind.se annual Most Popular Nordic DJ Poll; beating the likes of Ida Engberg, John Dahlbäck and Adam Beyer.
